Jaymee has been married for 18 years, been blessed with 4 daughters, 2 sons and midwifery has been a large part of her life for over 11 years. With each child, she experienced very different pregnancies and births
Her personal deliveries include both hospital and out-of-hospital birth, an epidural, unmedicated births, water birth and two cesarean sections. Shortly after Jaymee delivered her 3rd child, she pursued midwifery training through the Association of Texas Midwives’ Midwifery Program. She proceeded to pass the NARM and worked as a staff midwife at a local Houston area birth center until 2o12.
Jaymee has always held a strong belief that pregnancy and birth are normal life events. Working with women & their families from early pregnancy until 6 weeks postpartum has confirmed for her that the childbearing journey is a spiritual, physical & emotional experience. When women feel informed, respected, supported & safe, they are capable of creating for themselves the experiences & outcomes they had only previously hoped for.
